Social studies is one of the best places to engage students in critical thinking and inquiry based learning. We will quickly review the philosophy of the program (10 minutes), and then engage in some sample activities related to critical thinking and inquiry based learning. Time will be put aside to discuss assessment strategies and the variety of digital resources available to social studies teachers across all grade levels.
